Microcredit Company "Frontiers" was established in July 2003 by the American NGO ACDI/VOCA, which deals with issues of social and economic assistance in developing countries. The purpose of the company was to resolve the urgent need of the Central Asian market for a full-featured wholesale lender, and its corresponding purpose was to support and develop microfinance organizations operating in the countries of Central Asia and serving hundreds of thousands of poor people and people with limited access to financial resources.
Thus, with the emergence of MCC Frontiers in the financial and credit system of Central Asia, a significant gap was filled in it, and many microfinance organizations and credit unions, which previously, due to the lack of a credit history and insignificant turnover, experienced difficulties in replenishing working capital, received access to much-needed financing, which allowed them to significantly increase their credit resources and expand the coverage of the population served
